What’s a wedding in Provence?

An idyllic setting, special scents and sumptuous weather,

All this can only help make this important day so perfect!

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of being able to immortalize a union unlike any other. A wedding with the scents of Provence.

Pauline and Cédric are both from Metz. Coming to the South of France since their childhood, it was obvious for them to celebrate their union between the mountains of the Alpes de Haute Provence and the Mediterranean Sea: in the heart of Provence.

The key words of this wedding were Love, Emotion, Family, Simplicity and Authenticity.

The bride and groom chose a small committee (19 guests) to enjoy them for a whole week!

From dream to reality

“It took us almost a year to plan our big day. To help us, because we were not on site, we chose the services of Sarah from Instants de rêves (wedding planeuse), for our various searches. The first one being the place and we chose the magnificent Jas de Péguier. We also needed a photographer to keep memories of this beautiful day and for this we called Julien de JDSPHOTO. We don’t regret our choice at all.”

“We wanted a wedding in our own image, a family wedding, an authentic one in which we could be ourselves. And we did. The most important people for us were brought together. That is what we wanted.

Now we have the pleasure of looking endlessly at pictures of this beautiful day.”

The key word was really emotion, and it could be read on each of the guests’ faces. Through crazy laughter, tears of joy and shivers.

It was a magical wedding. As Pauline and Cédric said, they opted for a small wedding but with people very close to them.

As a wedding photographer, it’s always difficult to intrude on a family on a wedding day, especially when it’s done in a small group. But I have to say that I was lucky enough to be welcomed with open arms. It helped me in the shootings.
